This Privacy Policy, as updated from time to time, defines the conditions in which KHIRUS MEDICAL TRAINING collects and processes personally identifiable information in relation to the users of the KHIUS website, available at http://www.khirus.com
Responsibility for the processing of personal data KHIRUS is operated from its headquarters in Barcelona, Spain and KHIRUS administration team is responsible for the processing of your personal data in relation to your use of the LMS (“Your Personal Data”). Collection of Your Personal Data In relation to your use of the learning platform, KHIRUS may collect and process Your Personal Data in the following instances:
a) Registration and creation of a user account
The use of the learning platform requires that you first register and provide us with certain information about yourself (such as name, email address, town, country, login information, password or other information as requested in the sign-up process).
b) Cookies
KHIRUS may implement automatic tracking processes (cookies) gathering information (such as browser type, operating systems, IP address and the date and time of access) on KHIRUS to help improve its content, customise the learning experience based on users’ preferences and conduct research on traffic and audience. Your Personal Data will be collected, processed and stored by KHIRUS in Amazon Cloud Spain or in other countries of the European Economic Area. As KHIRUS is an international organisation with events worldwide, you agree that the KHIRUS may, for the purposes allowed by this Privacy Policy, process Your Personal Data in other countries (which may include countries that may not afford the same level of protection of such data as the country from which you provided the information). In such case, KHIRUS will take measures to ensure that Your Personal Data is protected in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.
c) Age limitation
KHIRUS is not directed to persons under 18 and KHIRUS will not knowingly collect and process personal information about persons under that age. If you become aware that your child has provided us with personal information without your consent, please contact us at info@khirus.com If we become aware that a child under 18 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to remove such information and terminate the child’s account.
The right of Access
At all times, you have the right to withdraw your consent regarding KHIRUS use of Your Personal Data or to request access to Your Personal Data and request a correction of any erroneous or incomplete data about you.
